Simplicity Sewing App App Reviews

Very disappointed with this app. I really hoped for more. It is extremely awkward and hard to use. It lags terribly when trying to enter information. I hope they work on improving the app because it has tremendous potential. I am running it on an iPad 2 with the most recent software. I have used bad words. :-(

App takes the place of sitting in the fabric store and looking at a look book. Even better than going online... I can save my wish list and mark patterns I already own.

I downloaded this app with great expectations but I have been disappointed. It crashes often. It does not share between my devices. In one of my devices, it forces me to sign in using Facebook which I do not want to do and there is not way to change that any placed.

This is a wonderfully useful app, when it comes to seeing what patterns are still available and which are gone. I just wish it wouldnt auto cycle through pictures, so I can pause it and better see the design.

I wish this app did what it was supposed to do. I entered in lots of patterns and it didnt save them. It also doesnt have all of their available patterns listed, even ones that are still available. Bummer.

Crashes constantly and wont save patterns owned or wanted. Havent tried to save fabric samples and dont want to spend much time with it now. Wish it would upload to Evernote. That is where I keep my projects.

I used to be able to save designs and change it to the ones I own, not anymore. Just stopped working. Plus it also doesnt download all the pictures. Thats the whole point of this app to see the pictures before u buy it. In 2015 I can buy and download patterns and print them off from this little thing called the internet. It would be so great if I could don just that and it would be even better if I could put in my measurements and download the exact pattern and have my bought patterns saved in the app so if I want to make another I can just print it again. This app could be a sewers essential app. It has the potential to be one of the best for sewers. But you have to fix all of the problems. If I were able, I wouldve bought the 15 patterns I have from here instead of going to another store to buy them. Hope it gets fixed.

Should allow for more flexibility. Thank goodness this was free! Barcode scanner to import pattern information, ability to create your own categories and more videos available just to start.

Updates dont seem to be available. How are older patterns accessed?

This would be great if it was updated. I would love to be able to buy and download patterns. When I first got the app it worked and I could save the designs, now I just sit here looking at the button and like my 1st marriage it worked in the beginning and now I just want to beat the crap out if it, oh wait thats just me. Have more videos!

I downloaded this morning hoping to pick out a few new patterns. Pictures didnt load so I thought maybe it just needed time to load, after waiting, still no pics. After reading the reviews, Im guessing Simplicity hasnt updated to accommodate the mates iOS version. I guess Ill have to wait for that.

I just got this app and Its always glitching back to my home screen

No pictures are loading on iPad Air 2.

You can not use the app for the purpose of looking at patterns.

I really want to like this app but its hard to do when there are NO pictures of the patterns. Huge disappointment!

Nothing seems to work. Images dont show up, which is 95% of what I need.

Has potential to be a fun and useful app, but right now its just frustrating. The pictures dont show up, which is the main point of even having this app. Its about as good as the "new" website. Hey Simplicity, fix this app!

The front page barely loads, when I click on other patterns, it wont even bring up the patterns. Nothing will load properly.

I loved this app when I first downloaded it but a couple months ago the pictures stopped loading. Kind of defeats the purpose of the app if you cant see the pattern pic. I am hoping an update will fix this.
